NO! NON sono compatibili, puoi usare il Dexron III per rabboccare il II ma non assolutamente il contrario!!!!!!!
Ergo, metti il Dexron III e non sbagli mai.
Lo trovi tranquillamente da qualche ricambista, in Opel (occhio hanno ancora in giro il II) in GM...
COnsiglio poi un additivo specifico per cambi, io uso materiale che prendo in America, CMQ lascia stare il converitore, cambia spesso quello in coppa e vai tranquillo.

Ma il III ha caratteristiche superiori al II ed e miscelabile senza problemi (posso mettere il III dove c'è il II), non viceversa.
Così dice mamma GM.
Adesso c'è anche il Dexron VI, che ad esempio è d'obbligo su tutti i veicoli dal MY 2006, C6 compresa..

General Motors Corporation has developed a new service fill automatic transmission/transaxle fluid which is designated DEXRON-IIE. This fluid is the preferred fluid for all HYDRA-MATIC automatic transmission/transaxles and will eventually replace DEXRON II. DEXRON-IIE is acceptable for use wherever DEXRON II was previously specified. DEXRON II is acceptable for use when DEXRON-IIE is not available. DEXRON-IIE can be used in both electronically and hydraulically controlled transmissions/transaxles.

DEXRON-IIE Advantages:

o Has better anti-foaming characteristics.

o Improved low temperature flow characteristics (low temperature viscosity) and improved high temperature oxidation stability.

o DEXRON-IIE and DEXRON II can be mixed in any ratio. No draining or flushing of system is required.

o DEXRON-IIE is back serviceable to 1949 for all General Motors automatic transmission / transaxles.

o No change in transmission/transaxle calibration or reduction in transmission/transaxle durability will occur as a result of using DEXRON-IIE.

DEXRON®-VI ATF
General Motors Powertrain has recently upgraded to DEXRON®-VI ATF with the start of 2006 vehicle production.

Only 2005 and prior models that currently use DEXRON®-III may use DEXRON®-VI as a replacement.

All 2006 and future models that use DEXRON®-VI are to be serviced with DEXRON®-VI fluid only.

2006 Transmission Fill and Cooler Flushing
Some new applications of the 6L80 six speed transmission will require the use of the J 45096 -- Flushing and Flow Tester to accomplish transmission fluid fill. It is highly recommended that the clean oil reservoir of the machine be purged of DEXRON®-III and filled with DEXRON®-VI.
