Behold, the monster 632 Corvette.
The engine is actually a 640 (the 632 ventilated a piston) by means of Sonny bryant 4.75"stroke billet crank and 4.625" bore with GRP alum rods with JE inverted dome 8.85 blower pistons with total seal gapless rings. The cam is a billet roller with .847"lift and 270/280duration at .050".
The heads are M24XTRA cnc Big Brodix with 2.35" intake and 1.90" exhaust valves. They flow over 475cc at .800"lift.
The exhaust is custom stahl 2&1/2" primaries to 5" custom sidepipes, baffled but open.
The engine uses ARP studs throughout, a 10qt oil system, a Meziere 55gpm water pump, an MSD crank trigger with 7al2 locked out timing at 28 to 36 degrees. Moroso ultra 40 wires, NGK B9ES sparkplugs.
The supercharger is a BDS 14-71 HI-HELIX rotor 14mm system running 20 over for 18 to 22lbs boost.
The carbs are Nickerson tuned 1350 Dominators. They use a one of a kind Enderle buzzardcatcher for an air plenum that funnels the air through with great results.
The fuel delivery is by a Product Engineering pro stock pump that puts out 660gph at 35psi up front regulated down to 8psi going to the carbs. #12to#10to#8 fuel lines.
This engine produced 970hp and 875lbs tq with a single plane manifold, no dynos around here will allow superchargers.
We expect at least 50% more power. Recently a progressive NOS system with 16 injector nozzles (8 fuel/8 N2O) was added.
The tranny is a Mikes reverse TH400 with an Ulta Bell bellhousing and a 2000rpm locked converter.
The rear end is a Mark williams Enterprises Pro Mod 3.812 thru bolt carrier center section with 9&1/2" 4.10 or 3.50 gear, a titanium spool and 40spline gun-drilled axles.
The tires are 32x17.5 or 32x16 Goodyears on 15x15 rear wheels. The brake system consists of 4 corner lightweight brakes and a chute.
Weight with fuel and driver is 2900lbs resulting in 7.50 at 187 plus. It could go quicker but regulations permit. The power to weight ratio is somewhere at 2 to 1.
