Ciao,

un pò di tempo fa Tonyrigo chiedava info in merito ai dischi baffati della LG Motorsport.
giusto per completezza di informazioni, sotto un copia incolla di quanto dichiarato da chi li vende:

Christian GM:
But the question is, why they costs more than double of the OEM ones?
They’re stronger? They resist on track days use double than OEM?

LGM:
This are double if not more than double the price of the original because of allot of reasons. One they are a two piece rotor, meaning they have a iron rotor ring and a aluminum hat and are held together with NAS fastners. These are custom built rotors for the ZO6, the rotor is machined aluminum that is hard coat anodized. The rotors are custom machined by Coleman racing who make rotors for NASCAR, these have HD cooling unlike the factory rotors and they are slotted and not drilled. They are also lighter than the stock rotors which means you have less unsprung weight and the car will handle better. They will also last about 4 times as long as a stock rotor and when you do wear it out, you can just replace the ring and not have to buy a set of rotors.
Thanks

Christian GM:
Really interesting.
Last question,
how about the price of a replacement ring kit with fastener?

LGM:
The new rotor rings prices depend on size, the ZO6 14” rings are ***ea, and the bolt kit is ****. The rings should last you all year of track use depending on aggressive you are on the brakes and what pads you use. We use a PFC01’s and the rings go all season with about 12 weekends of racing most of those weekends are doubles and some triples. If you are using these for street or just HPDE you should get a couple of years out of them again depending on pads.
Thanks

beh,

direi che per gli smanettoni la prospettiva è interessante!
