Ciao a tutti mi sto interessando per una C3 del 73 e vorrei sapere cosa ne pensate di questa che ho trovato.

This car is a fixer upper. The car needs a tune up, it has a few frame repairs that need done to make road ready, the interior need some TLC and the two front ball joints need replaced. This is why we are selling this car at the price we are. If we did all the work mentioned above, we would be charging $15,000-$20,000 for this car. It will probably take around $3000 to fix this car up to be a daily driver. The engine is not a numbers matching engine, however it is a corvette engine. This would be a good car for someone that wanted to tinker with and end up with a car worth more than they have invested.

Sembra bella..... ma fatti mandare altre foto di particolari sotto, vano motore etc...

Allora oggi pomeriggio ho mandato un'altra mail dove ho chiesto altre foto (vano motore e sotto), ma mi hanno detto di non averne altre e di non poterne fare altre in quanto la macchina non è presso di loro, ma da un altro venditore.

Ecco qui la sua risposta:
The only pictures I have are the pictures on our web site.
I do know the cross member under the radiator is rusted and in need of repair.
There is a spot on the frame that is rusted and would need a plate and welded.
The car is not currently at my location. We gave it to another dealer to try and sell before we take it to
an auction, so more pictures would be impossible at this point and time.
The engine is a 350 (190 hp). If you want to make an offer, we would be willing to listen.
We have it currently listed at $10,900.00.

Comunque da quello che ho capito ci sarebbe da lavorarci un po sopra (o meglio sotto) perchè ci sono alcuni punti arrugginiti e da risaldare. [V]
Quindi bisognerebbe forse togliere tutto il motore e staccare il telaio?
So che senza altre foto dettagliate e senza vederla dal vivo non si può giudicare appieno, ma secondo voi la spesa per sistemare cose di questo tipo quale può essere?

A occhio e croce ti verrà a costare su strada in Italia, messa a posto, sui 20000 Eurini. Per un 350 non originale, sta a te decidere.
Per come mi comporterei io (e per tutto quello che ho letto sul Forum) non prenderei mai in considerazione un venditore che non da' la possibilità di controllare la vettura..
Quello che avevo intravisto io, e che ho segnalato su Compravendita, almeno era un 454..

Cmq..nell'impossibil ità di prenderne ora una io, seguirò le tue peripezie con interesse..occhio mi raccomando!

Non ti voglio scoraggiare ma la frase "è comunque un motore corvette" mi lascia un pò perplesso e anche se è l'ultimo problema il nero nel 1973 non c'era!
