la tua è completamente stock?
Sai l'attuale stato di salute del tuo motore?
Di norma aspirazione/carburatore/cammes/teste/scarico sono la regola....ma se non conosci bene lo stato di salute del "sotto" è bene non cominciare a modificare il "sopra".
Se invece vuoi rifare tutto (anche senza spendere una fortuna ) partirei da un aumento di cilindrata da 350 ci a 383.
Esistono "rotating assemblies" a "one piece rear seal" (cioè come il tuo motore) che ti danno albero, pistoni, fasce, bronzine, fasce, bielle, damper e flexplate per meno di mille dollari.
Leggiti il sito di Stroker.

Gli "one piece rear main seal" sono gli small-block a partire da 1986!!!!!
Fino a tale data tutti gli alberi sono con la tenuta in due pezzi!!!
Comunque la Vette nel 1980 aveva 3 motorizzazioni:
350 CID (5700cc) da 190Hp (codice L48)
305 CID (5000cc) da 180Hp (codice LG4)
350 CID (5700cc) da 230Hp (codice L82)

Guarda il quinto (5°) carattere del tuo VIN e se trovi rispettivamente

identifichi una delle tre motorizzazioni descritte sopra!
8 = 350cid 190Hp
H = 305cid 180Hp
6 = 350cid 230Hp

me ne sono reso conto solo ora di aver scritto ONE piece,
Sai ho fatto 2 mesi interi (quando cercavo i pezzi per il mio motore) a cercare il "ONE piece 87 later" che mi è rimasto nella testa![:245]
Infatti si trovano con molta più facilità Rotating Assy a two pieces rear seal per pre '87.
Chiedo pubblica ammenda per il lapsus! [:142][:142][:142][:142]
